2008 Annual Report - Celebrating 85 Years of Service
We are very pleased to share with you the 2008 Annual Report of Catholic Charities of Buffalo, NY, spotlighting the legacy of 70 human service programs serving children, seniors and families in need across the eight counties of Western New York.
Established in October 1923 by the Diocese of Buffalo, Catholic Charities has enjoyed 85 years of service to our community. To celebrate this milestone, we looked back to where we began in 1923 and forward from there to 2008 to develop this snapshot of care and service. We found that the hope and empowerment we bring today to individuals, children and families is also the essence of the mission on which our organization was founded. We also remain proud of the fact that we continue to be excellent stewards of our financial resources, by continuing to operate a very cost-effective organization, as evidenced by our very low administrative and fund-raising costs.
