Are you a grandparent, aunt or uncle who is raising one or more children from a relative? If so, a new support group is available where you can meet and talk with people just like you, who can relate to the challenges that come with an “instant family.”
When: The second Thursday of each month
10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and 7 to 8 p.m.
Where: Mercy Center, 625 Abbott Rd., Buffalo.
Who: The groups are open to all individuals raising relative children and provide the opportunity to speak to community members for advice and to connect with available resources.
