Catholic Charities Elects New Member to Agency Board

BUFFALO, N.Y., August 8, 2012 – Catholic Charities of Buffalo officials announced today that Maria Foti has been elected the newest member of its Board of Trustees.
Foti is the Senior Vice President of Planning for Catholic Health, an integrated health care delivery system, a position she has held since 2007. She previously served as Catholic Health’s Vice President of Planning from 1999-2007 and Vice President of Planning and Marketing from 1998-1999. She had served in various roles with Mercy Health System, the predecessor of Catholic Health, since 1988.
She completed the Sloan Program in Health Services Administration and earned a Master of Health Administration degree from Cornell University, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychobiology from Hamilton College.
The Hamburg resident is a member of Catholic Health’s Board of Directors’ Long Range Strategic Planning Committee, and a member of the Strategic Planning Committee of the Mt. Mercy Academy Board of Directors.
