Catholic Charities of Buffalo was established on October 30, 1923. We’re thrilled and humbled to celebrate our centennial milestone in the Western New York community.

Born out of the Diocese of Buffalo from a collection of institutions serving the very young to the elderly, Catholic Charities today is a comprehensive human service organization with a dedicated mission that has provided HOPE and advocated for millions of individuals, children and families in need through the years.

Over the next year, we will celebrate our legacy in ways that mirror our mission, vision and values. We’ll also reflect on where Catholic Charities has been, where it is now and its future direction so we can continue to be a beacon of HOPE for the next 100 years. Please join us as we mark this significant milestone now through October 2023.

HOPE for the 100th Personal Care Items Drive

We are overwhelmed by the incredible response we received for the HOPE for the 100th Personal Care Items Drive.

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to collect over 5,000 items that will be distributed to those in need across the eight counties of western New York.
