Catholic Charities of Buffalo announces a recent promotion and three new hires to leadership positions.
Lacie Schloder, MSW, has been named Multisystemic Therapy (MST) Program Supervisor in the Family and Community Services Department serving Allegany and Cattaraugus counties, Matthew Joyner has been appointed Manager of Wraparound Services in the Workforce and Education Department at the Northland Workforce and Training Center (NWTC), Sharon Gerbracht, LCSW, has been appointed Supervisor in the Clinical Services Department at the Monsignor Carr Clinic in Niagara Falls and Sara Grady, MSW, has been named Coordinator of Children’s Services in the Family and Community Services Department.
Schloder’s promotion follows three years of service as an MST therapist. As supervisor, she is responsible for clinical and administrative supervision to clinicians, including promoting engagement, facilitating adherence to the MST treatment principles and process, and assuring comprehensive assessment.
Schloder holds both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in social work from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
Joyner brings more than a decade of experience in social services to his new role. He most recently served as the senior re-entry care coordinator at Spectrum Human Services.
In his new role, Joyner is responsible for the direction and oversight of career coaching for all NWTC trainees which includes the development of a customized career plan, identification of training and social supports, assistance in accessing necessary social and educational resources and post-placement retention services.
Joyner is certified in Trauma Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, and as a Moral Recognition Therapy facilitator, Offender Workforce Development specialist and a Thinking for Change facilitator.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Penn State University.
In her new role, Gerbracht is responsible for the day-to-day operation and supervision of the licensed outpatient clinic program, its clinical and administrative support staff.
Prior to joining Catholic Charities, she worked as a licensed clinical social worker at Lakeshore Behavioral Health and brings more than 13 years of experience as a counselor, therapist and director of social work.
Gerbracht earned a master’s degree in social work from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
As program coordinator, Grady oversees Children’s Services including Foster Care and Adoption; the Young Parents and the Incredible Years parenting programs.
She comes to Catholic Charities from the Arizona Children’s Association where she was a clinician II in Trauma Services. She also served the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Children and Families as a social worker and UMass Memorial Medical Center as an outpatient clinical social worker.
Grady holds both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in social work from Boston College.
