BUFFALO, N.Y., March 11, 2016 – Three new members have been elected to the Catholic Charities of Buffalo Board of Trustees. They are Joseph Feeley, CPA, Pastor James Giles and Julie Snyder.

Feeley is a partner at Linwood Investment Advisors, Inc. in Williamsville. Pastor Giles is president and chief executive officer of Back to Basics Outreach Ministries, Inc. in Buffalo. Snyder is Vice President of Corporate Relations with HealthNow New York, Inc. in Buffalo.

Dennis Walczyk, Catholic Charities Chief Executive Officer, said, “We welcome these individuals who each bring significant expertise and a passion for our work of providing hope for people in need in our community.”

Feeley also serves as the director and treasurer of the RAS Scholarship Fund, Inc. He formerly served as the Director of the Investment Committee for the Sisters Hospital Foundation and Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation.

In his role, Pastor Giles manages the personnel and operations for Back to Basics Outreach Ministries, Inc., coordinating and developing strategies to maintain its mission and develop programs and systems to accomplish goals and objectives. He serves on the boards of Child and Adolescent Treatment Services, Erie County Re-entry Task Force, Stop the Violence Coalition and Erie County Safety Board. He is also coordinator of Buffalo Peacemakers.

As Vice President of Corporate Relations, Snyder is responsible for the company’s strategy and direction for media relations, community investments and partnerships, internal and operational communications and key corporate initiatives across HealthNow’s markets. She serves on the Board of Trustees for Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy and the Buffalo Therapeutic Riding Center. Additionally,  Snyder serves on a number of marketing committees for various non-profits including Buffalo Center for Arts and Technology, United Way of Buffalo and Erie County, and 43North. She is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Buffalo.
