Catholic Charities Seeking Donations of Personal Care Items

To help neighbors in need throughout Cattaraugus and Allegany counties, Catholic Charities is seeking donations of personal care items to help restock its personal care pantry located within its Olean office.

Olean Personal Care Pantry

Donations of new and unopened products such as deodorant, toilet paper, toothpaste, and feminine products are now being collected. Items can be dropped off weekdays between 9 – 11 a.m. or mailed to Catholic Charities Olean’s office located at 2636 West State St., Suite 301, Olean, NY 14760.

The personal care pantry serves approximately 125 households each month. Over the past year, this number has increased by more than 500%.

“Our personal care pantry is a vital resource for our two counties with so many households struggling to make ends meet,” said Kelsie Griesbaum, emergency financial assistant, Catholic Charities. “Our neighbors in need shouldn’t have to choose between food and personal care items, which is why it’s so important for us to provide this service free of charge. Any donations that we receive help in a huge way.”

If you or someone you know may benefit from Catholic Charities’ personal care pantry, please call the Olean office at 716-372-0101.
