Catholic Charities’ In-School Social Work Program is partnering with NativityMiguel Middle School of Buffalo to bring Raising Heroes: Why It’s Important and How It’s Done featuring Nate Turner, leading parental empowerment activist, author, and TEDx speaker.
Nate Turner will encourage and propel parents to raise children who are intellectually ambitious, culturally competent, and humanitarian-driven. We anticipate the evening to be inspiring and fun.
A student art show focusing on diversity, equity and inclusion will be part of the event.
Door prizes and giveaways also are planned.
