Student Support Program (SSP)

Get Help

The Student Support Program is a collaborative, school-based initiative designed to help students thrive by addressing the social, emotional, and non-academic factors that impact learning and development. Embedded directly within schools, Student Support Staff offer classroom-based instruction, individual and group support, mentoring, and community-based referrals tailored to the unique needs of each school community.

By providing social-emotional learning (SEL), character development activities, short-term counseling, and facilitating access to community resources, the program builds students’ resilience, confidence, and connection to school. Support extends beyond students—families are connected to essential services like basic needs and mental health care, while school staff benefit from ongoing collaboration and consultation.
